Residential Warranty
NobleHouse™ Natural Hardwood Flooring
NobleHouse extends the following warranty features to our customers. Please accept these terms as our assurance to you that NobleHouse Natural Hardwood Flooring products are produced to the closest possible tolerances under carefully controlled conditions. As you enjoy the beauty of your NobleHouse floor, please remember that each piece is a product of nature. Each piece will carry the individual characteristic of nature itself. If any defect is visible at the time of installation, it is the responsibility of the installer NOT to install that piece. Always allow 5% extra for cutting allowance.
Customers Responsibilites under NobleHouse Warranties
NobleHouse warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the NobleHouse floor. To be covered under our warranty, you the consumer must keep your original sales receipt and make sure the flooring is properly installed in accordance with the National Wood Flooring Association installation instructions. We recommend that you use only NobleHouse specially formulated floor care products to preserve your flooring. NobleHouse has a complete line of those specially formulated floor care products.
Rountine Care and Maintenance
1.) NEVER CLEAN OR WET MOP YOUR FLOOR WITH WATER. Water may permanently damage the floor.
2.) Protect your floor from direct sunlight. Move area rugs occasionally as they block sunlight and may give the appearance of discoloring under the rug.
3.) Do not roll or slide heavy objects directly upon the floor.
4.) Keep the relative humidity in your home between 35% and 55%.
5.) Never use any of the following products on your floor: ammonia based cleaners, wax based products, detergents, polishes, acrylic finishes, bleach, oil soaps or acidic materials like vinegar.
6.) Keep pet nails trimmed to minimize finish scratches.
7.) Avoid walking on wood floors with spike or high heeled shoes.
Wear/Fade/Stain Warranty
The wear layer finish is warranted for 10 to 25 years (depending on the product) from the date of purchase when used in your residence, against wear, fade and staining. It is important to keep the floor well maintained and follow the routine care portion of our warranty. This warranty DOES NOT apply to scratching or loss of gloss that can result with normal traffic on any urethane finished hardwood floor. This Wear Warranty applies to the original purchaser of the flooring only.
Lifetime Structure Warranty
Your new floor is warranted for a lifetime against manufacturing defects due to structural issues. If the structure of your floor should fail due to manufacturing defects, such as delamination at any time, we will provide new material. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the NobleHouse floor and is limited to replacement of materials..
What Is Not Covered By These Warranties
1.) Installation errors.
2.) Floors damaged or adhesive breakdown caused by sub floor issues including moisture or water damage.
3.) Construction or installation related damage.
4.) Commercial installation of residential products.
5.) Products designated as "close-outs", "cabin grade", "seconds" or "bargains".
6.) Changes in color due t exposure to sunlight and age.
7.) Natural expansion and contraction resulting in separation between boards or damage caused by low or excessive humidity.
8.) Naturally occurring wood characteristics such as variations in grain, color, mineral streaks and knots.
9.) Deficiencies related to sub floor assemblies, sub floor preparation, uneven sub floor surfaces, floor deflections or voids in the sub floor..
10.) Reduction in gloss, scratches or indention due to sand, pebbles, pets, construction or failure to maintain floor.
11.) Color variations between individual pieces.
12.) Wood flooring installed in full bathrooms with a shower or tub.
13.) Damaged caused by fire, flooding, and other natural disasters or Acts of God.
14.) Damaged caused by negligence, accidents, misuse or abuse.
15.) Damaged caused by appliance, furniture or casters.
NOTE: YOU AND YOUR INSTALLER ARE RESPONSIBLE TO INSPECT THE FLOORING PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. WE ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LIABILITIES, CLAIMS OR EXPENSES, WHERE FLOORING WITH VISIBLE DEFECTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
If You Have A Problem
In the unlikely event that you should have a claim, please contact the outlet where you purchased the floor. It is the responsibility of the outlet to initiate any inspection of the flooring to determine the cause of the problem. If the problem is caused by a manufacturing defect, NobleHouse will repair or replace the damage material at our option. Please provide a proof of purchase with date for claims to be processed.
NobleHouse reserves the right in all cases to make an inspection of the installation, and may require samples to be removed from the floor before processing a claim.
Exclusions
NobleHouse Hardwood Flooring is a product of nature. Naturally occurring variations and character are not considered manufacturing defects. Flooring pieces that are obviously damaged or otherwise unsuitable should not be installed. A 5% tolerance for cutting is standard in the industry. NobleHouse Hardwood Flooring is always susceptible to normal color change due to the sun's UV rays. We do not warranty installations. This warranty is the sole and complete statement of NobleHouse Flooring, and is in place of all other Warranties, express or implied. WE EXCLUDE AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OR PAY INCIDENTAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES UNDER OUR WARRANTIES. By this we mean any loss, expense, or damage other than to the flooring itself that may result for a defect in the flooring. Our limited warranty constitutes the only express warranties for the product of NobleHouse. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation for incidental or consequential damages. In that case, these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state. All legitimate claims will be settled by NobleHouse at the sole discretion of NobleHouse.
Settlement may include repairing, refinishing or replacing material of the affected flooring.
